Well we found out today that MPF royally fucked up, and in turn we lost our orders. The hubsters went LAST MONTH and reenlisted for 4 years. Today we check the hubbys email and there was an email there pretty much confirming his VOLUNTARY SEPARATION! Someone at MPF never put in his reenlistment. Since their incompetence had him separating in November, our orders, that we HAD RETAINABILITY because he REENLISTED....was gone.
Im so pissed.
We are working on getting his reenlistment fixed and hubby talked to someone today and we are going to try to get our orders back. If they get off their asses and get this stuff done before its too late. AFPC said that if the slot hasn't been filled then we MIGHT be able to get them back....but I'm not holding my breath.

A trip to California in my future
Well there seems to be a trip, or two, to California in my future. My neurologist here has finally got things set up to where I can go see a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon is at Travis AFB in California. This could be a GREAT thing. The first trip will be to just see the doc and see if they think I need surgery on my back. If they decide that I do then they will send me and the hubsters back.
Wee bit of a snag in those plans tho are that I wanted to get this done ASAP because the kids are not here until the middle of August. I would have liked to have everything said and done before they got home so we wouldnt have to find care for them or buy a plane ticket for them. I guess that is one problem we will have to deal with when the time comes.
Plans for Japan are still on so far. This back issue could push back the orders which would totally suck but anything to get my back better. We have to get busy on the paperwork though.
Thats all for now...

Back issues....
Well I finally got to talk to the Neuro about my back. I had to do it on the sneaky side because I can NEVER get an appointment to see him, but my husband can, go figure. So during my hubbys appointment I asked him about my back and told him how I have been in some excruciating pain lately and that even my toes go numb from time to time. He assured me that this could be due to the sciatic nerve being pinched by the bulging disks in my lower back. So at least I know that its not something more serious (the numb toes).
He put in for a referral to have a surgery consult. I go to referrals and find out that this is one of those things that has to be reviewed first before they can approve it. So they told me to call back Friday (yesterday HAHA July 4th) So they wasn't even going to be open. So I will wait til Monday to give them a call. Here's hoping. I can sure use the pain relief at this moment.

Randomness...
So...nothing really new to add. Last week I got a referral for a surgery consult on my back. Im hoping like heck that all goes well and they see fit that I need something done. Dog is still hormonal. Ya know, I thought once I had my hysterectomy that I would be free and clear of the hormonal stuff until my daughter hits puberty. HAHA jokes on me. This past weekend we worked at the airshow here on Elmendorf. It was fun to get out of the house and meet some new people, even tho I didnt get to sit and chat with many of them for a long time. I got to see the F22 up close. Which was pretty cool even if I do say so myself. Here is a picture of said F22.

Still miss my kids. Hope to be able to talk to them this afternoon. Only a month and a half until they come home. Too long for me, but I guess Ill survive.
